Upma, uppumavu, or uppittu is a dish from the Indian subcontinent, most common in South Indian, Maharashtrian, and Sri Lankan Tamil breakfast. golden bansi rava/ sooji
ashews halved and cleaned

In This Recipe
Take a pan add oil/ghee, add urad dal, chana dal, mustard, cashews. Fry until it turns golden. Add onions, ginger, curry leaves, and green chilly. Stir and sauté for 2 mins. Add Golden Bansi Rawa and roast it for 1-2 minutes.
Pour lukewarm water and salt as per taste. Bring the water to boil and stir the Golden Bansi Rawa in the water, to avoid lumps.
Cover and cook on a low flame until the water evaporates. Which might take 3-4 minutes. Add lemon juice and mix well. Sprinkle coriander and serve hot.
