A hybrid of kaffir lime and mandarin. Gondhoraj lemon is native to Bengal, India. This citrus fruit has a unique, strong and fruity fragrance. It was just recently, I discovered it and I had to try the classic lemon ice tea with a little twist of course!

There are million lemon ice tea recipes out there. In celebration of discovering Gondhoraj lemon, I'm sharing my recipe for a floral, fruity, citrusy summer drink. That everyone loves! —Heartful Baker

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 2-3 tablespoons gondhoraj lemon juice
  • 1 rose mint tea bag
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1-2 teaspoons sugar syrup (optional)
  • ice cubes, as needed
  • 4-5 dried rose petals for garnish
  • 4-5 mint leaves for garnish
  • lemon slices for garnish
Directions
  1. Brew your rose mint tea and set it aside in the fridge to chill.
  2. Prepare the sugar syrup (if using) by boiling equal parts of water and sugar until dissolved. Let it cool.
  3. After everything is chilled, fill a large glass with ice, lemon slices, sugar syrup, lemon juice and brewed tea. Add fresh mint leaves and dried rose petals on top and serve.
