This seasoned Meatloaf with Tomato Sauce is the ultimate comfort-food and a family favorite!

Ground Beef

3/4 cup
chopped yellow onion

3/4 cup
chopped green bell peppers

1 1/2 cups
breadcrumbs

large eggs

3 tablespoons
Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon
dry mustard

1 teaspoon
salt

1/2 teaspoon
black pepper

spray oil for baking sheet

3 cups
Ketchup
-
1/3 cup
Brown sugar (packed)

1 teaspoon
dried mustard

2 tablespoons
Worcestershire sauce

salt, to taste
Directions

Combine all sauce ingredients in bowl and set aside

Lightly spray broiler pan with oil; set aside

Lightly beat eggs in a small bowl; set aside

Preheat oven to 375ºF

Combine meatloaf ingredients into large bowl; do not overmix

Place beef mixture on clean counter and shape into a loaf

Place loaf onto prepared broiler pan (with drip pan underneath) and bake 30-45 minutes until internal temperature reaches 150ºF
-
Once loaf has reached 150ºF, remove and spoon tomato mixture over the top; return to oven until internal temperature reaches 160ºF

Remove from oven; tent with foil and allow to sit for 3-4 minutes; use a serrated knife to slice; serve with additional tomato sauce (optional)
