This cocktail classic is refreshingly tart with a hint of sweet, thanks to grapefruit juice and a dash of simple syrup. Tying it all together is Tequila Ocho Plata—a clean, lively tequila made with 100% Blue Agave (and no additives, ever).

Ingredients

Tequila Ocho Plata

2 ounces
freshly squeezed grapefruit juice

1/2 ounce
simple syrup

1/2 ounce
freshly squeezed lime juice

2 ounces
sparkling water
Directions

Combine all the ingredients—except the sparkling water—in an ice-filled cocktail shaker, then shake to combine.

Strain into a salt-rimmed (if that’s your thing) highball glass filled with ice. Top off the drink with sparkling water and serve.
