These meatballs are easy and full of flavor. I love to serve these tucked in a pita with spicy feta, schug, pickled red onion and tomatoes. Yum! —thunderduckfarm

Ingredients

1 pound
ground lamb

1 pound
ground beef

onion, grated

2 tablespoons
tomato paste

2 teaspoons
allspice

2
garlic cloves, grated

egg

1/4 cup
parsley, minced

8 ounces
feta
-
1 tablespoon
calabrian chiles

1
lemon, zested and juiced

1/2 cup
olive oil

1/2 cup
greek yogurt
Directions

Heat oven to 450 degrees.

Mix lamb, beef, onion, tomato paste, allspice, garlic, egg and parsley together season with salt and pepper and form into 1-2 inch balls.

Drizzle with olive oil and cook for 15 minutes until cooked through.

While the meatballs cook make the spicy feta. Add feta, calabrian chiles, lemon zest and juice, olive oil and yogurt to a food processor and mix until whipped smooth.

Serve the meatballs over the feta and with pita, Schug, pickled red onion, tomato and anything else you want!
