Ingredients

2 ounces
blended Scotch whisky (Famous Grouse)

1 ounce
fresh lemon juice

1/2 ounce
ginger syrup
-
1/2 ounce
honey syrup
-
1/4 ounce
Islay Scotch
-
Tumbler, chilled
-
Lemon peel and (optional) candied ginger, for garnish
Directions

Shake first 4 ingredients with ice.
-
Fine strain into tumbler over large rock.
-
Float Islay Scotch over top of drink.

Garnish with lemon twist and candied ginger, if desired.
