Author Notes

This party-ready punch makes the most of winter citrus and the smooth, luscious spice of Goslings Spirited Seas Ocean Aged Rum (yep, this newly released bottle was actually aged at sea in once-used bourbon barrels). The result: a lighter and brighter sip to serve all season long. To prepare, juice your grapefruits, oranges, lemons, and limes and mix to combine. (Freshly squeezed juice is always preferable, but you can use store-bought juice in a pinch.) From there, just mix in the rum and simple syrup and serve over ice. For an extra festive look, don’t forget to top the punch with slices of whatever exciting citrus you have on hand, like blood oranges, mandarins, key limes, Meyer lemons, and even kumquats. —Alexis deBoschnek
