Author Notes

The holidays are upon us, which means that hosting season is also here. Whether you’re welcoming a large party of guests or a small group of friends, this recipe is the ultimate mocktail for your festive gathering. Spiced Berry Punch combines cozy mulling spices with the tangy freshness of cranberry and pomegranate juice—plus the effervescence of LaCroix Black Razzberry—to create a vibrant, ruby-hued sip that sparkles like a gem. The scent of cinnamon and clove will fill your kitchen as you make the syrup, evoking the feelings of the winter holidays, while the sweet bright bubbles of the LaCroix Black Razzberry say it’s time to party.

If you’re looking to spice things up even more, make fruity ice cubes to add to the mix. Simply fill your favorite ice cube tray with a mixture of whole raspberries and blackberries, top with water, and pop it in the freezer. —Jessica Faith Meter

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • For the punch:
  • 3 cups pomegranate juice
  • 3/4 cup cranberry juice
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 cans LaCroix Black Razzberry
  • 1/2 cup spiced pomegranate syrup
  • Raspberry and blackberry ice cubes, optional
  • For the spiced pomegranate syrup:
  • 2 cups pomegranate juice
  • 4 tablespoons agave
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 clove
  • 4 black peppercorns
Directions
  1. Make the pomegranate syrup: Pour pomegranate juice into a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the agave, cinnamon stick, clove, and black peppercorns. Cook until juice has reduced and become syrupy, about 25 to 30 minutes. Once it has reduced, strain into a bowl and transfer to the freezer to cool for at least 20 minutes.
  2. Make the punch: Once the syrup is cooled, add pomegranate juice, cranberry juice, lemon juice, 1/2 cup pomegranate syrup, and the LaCroix Black Razzberry to a punch bowl or pitcher. Pour or ladle into glasses with lots of ice, garnish with fresh blackberries and raspberries.
