Ingredients
  • 4-5 Large Potatoes
  • 3 tablespoons Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 3 cups Shredded Cheese
  • 3-4 Green Onions, Chopped
  • 1/2 cup Bacon Bits
  • 2 tablespoons Melted Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Peel and cube your potatoes. Wash them off very good for several minutes in a colander. Place them in a large pot and boil for about 15 minutes or until tender.
  2. Place the tender potatoes in a large bowl. Mash with the end of a whisk or a potato masher. Add in the sour cream, heavy cream, 1/2 cup of shredded cheese, bacon bits, green onions, melted butter and spices. Mix well. For best results, use an electric hand mixer.
  3. Pour the mixture into your casserole dish. Top with the remaining 2 and 1/2 cups of shredded cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for around 25-30 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve hot and enjoy!
