Author Notes
• 100 gr. butter
• 3 eggs
• 1 small tin of baking powder
• 1/2 kg. grained lemon flesh
• 1 small glass of liquor brandy
• Some milk
• Sugar powder
PREPARATION
- Mix flour and baking powder.
- Cut butter in dices, throw it to a ball and batter it in mixer, until it becomes soft. By blending butter, add egg yellows and sugar alternatively.
- The throw grained lemon, mass of almond, adding flour little by little and brandy. If pastry that comes out of this procedure is too hard, feel free to add some milk.
- Batter egg-white, to become mareng with half spoon baking powder and add to mix little of it, by mixing carefully.
- Put butter in the pan (or a cooking shell in form of Christmas tree σε . Preheat oven at 190 C
- Put the pastry in the pan and have cake/pie baked for 40-50 min. When it’s ready, leave it on the table as it is to get cold and put sugar powder all over it.
Your cake for mid-night of 31 Dec-1 January is ready to share with family members or friends.
