A sweet tea with deep caramel and citrus notes. —ky
Ingredients
- Kumquat Syrup

Kumquats (halved and de-seeded)

1 tablespoon
Coriander Seed

3/4 cup
Brown Sugar

1 teaspoon
Salt

3/4 cup
Water
- Tea

Black Tea bags

8 cups
Filtered water
Directions

Steep black tea in cold filtered water in the fridge for at least 5 hours, but no longer than 24. Remove the tea bags.

Combine all ingredients for the Kumquat Syrup in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce to low, and let simmer for 30 minutes to an hour. Once finished, strain and set aside.

Combine steeped tea with the Kumquat syrup and serve with ice!
