Kumquat Syrup Tea

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • Kumquat Syrup
  • 10 Kumquats (halved and de-seeded)
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander Seed
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • Tea
  • 8 Black Tea bags
  • 8 cups Filtered water
Directions
  1. Steep black tea in cold filtered water in the fridge for at least 5 hours, but no longer than 24. Remove the tea bags.
  2. Combine all ingredients for the Kumquat Syrup in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce to low, and let simmer for 30 minutes to an hour. Once finished, strain and set aside.
  3. Combine steeped tea with the Kumquat syrup and serve with ice!
