What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 2 cups sunflower seeds, raw
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened sunflower seed butter
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
Directions
  1. Add the sunflower seeds to a food processor/blender and blend until you achieve a fine texture, similar to almond flour or a coarse sand. Place the sunflower seed "flour" into a medium bowl.
  2. Add the sunflower seed butter, cacao powder, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt to the bowl and stir everything together until a dough forms. You can use a spatula or your hands. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  3. Roll ½ tablespoon of dough in your hand to form balls. Enjoy right away and keep stored covered in the fridge for an easy snack all week!
