Author Notes

It's hard to resist Funetti flavored anything, but have you seen the viral sprinkles popcorn trend? We found that coating a better-for-you vessel like popcorn with tons of rainbow sprinkles is a slightly less indulgent way to satisfy that pesky Funetti craving. Looking for a way to make it even better? Try using Watkins Rainbow Sprinkles which are free from artificial dyes and still vibrant without using FD&C colors. Ready in under 20 minutes, this easy-to-make viral treat is a guilt-free way to brighten your day. —The Watkins Co.

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup un-popped popcorn kernels
  • 10 ounces white chocolate melting wafers
  • 1/3 cup Watkins Rainbow Sprinkles
Directions
  1. In a large pan with a lid, set heat to medium and add your oil.
  2. Toss in the popcorn. Stir occasionally. When the first few kernels pop, place the lid on pan. Swirl contents in the pan occasionally until all the kernels have stopped popping.
  3. Spread popped popcorn out on a cookie sheet.
  4. Melt white chocolate melting wafers in a microwave, stirring every 20 seconds until melted.
  5. Drizzle melted white chocolate over popped popcorn. Stir until popcorn is coated.
  6. Sprinkle with Watkins Rainbow Sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet.
  7. Set aside to cool and dry for at least 10 minutes.
