Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 3 tablespoons breakfast syrup, sugar free
  • 2 tablespoons Hemp Hearts hemp seeds, shelled
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons turmeric, ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger, ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, ground
  • 1/8 teaspoon table salt
  • 1 pinch nutmeg, ground
  • 1 pinch cloves, ground
  • 1 teaspoon coconut flour, finely ground
  • 1 bar Atkins Vanilla Macadamia Nut Soft Baked Energy Bar
  • 1/4 serving of vanilla milkshake protein powder
  • 2 teaspoons canned coconut cream
  • 1/2 tablespoon coconut, shredded, unsweetened
Directions
  1. In a large bowl, mix together almond butter, sugar free maple syrup, hemp hearts, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, pepper, salt, nutmeg and cloves until very well combined.
  2. Mix in coconut flour until a slightly oily dough forms.
  3. Cut the Atkins bar into 12 even pieces. Wrap each piece of bar in about 1 tablespoon almond butter mix, forming 12 even balls. Set on a baking sheet or plate.
  4. In a small bowl or cup, use a fork to combine protein powder and coconut cream to a thick icing consistency.
  5. Top eight of the bites with the icing and sprinkle a pinch of hemp seeds over four of the iced bites.
  6. Press the four un-iced bites in coconut shreds.
  7. Store in the refrigerator in a covered container for up to 5 days.
