I'd hardly consider this a recipe, it's so simple and easy. But, it's one of my favorite dips, especially for sweet potato wedges or chips. - fiveandspice —fiveandspice

Test Kitchen Notes

Sour cream and onion watch out! There is a new kid in town! This recipe was a breeze to put together and it tasted amazing. We had it with some kettle cooked potato chips but it works great as a veggie dip too. Simple and great recipe! —adamnsvetcooking

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1-2 teaspoons Garam masala spice blend (homemade or store bought, whichever)
  • 1 tablespoon thinly sliced green onion, just the white and light green part
  • salt
  • chopped cilantro for garnish, if desired
Directions
  1. Beat together the yogurt, sour cream, and garam masala (starting with the smaller amount). Stir in the green onion. Taste and add salt and more garam masala, until you achieve the strength flavor that suits you. Serve, or chill until ready to serve.
