Portuguese artist Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro was a man of many talents—one of them, ceramics. He started producing his own pieces in 1884, and the awards started rolling in soon after. His legacy continues in Portugal to this day with some of the most charming plates and serving pieces we’ve clapped eyes on, many based on Pinheiro’s original designs.
