When we met Sean VanderVliet of Fenway Clayworks, we knew we’d be fast friends. In addition to making beautiful ceramics, he’s building a community of potters, chefs, and consumers who are conscious of how they consume food. Having lived in Iowa, Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire (near Simon Pearce’s studio in Vermont!), his inspiration spans far and wide. Now he’s based in Colorado, wheel-throwing pieces that make for surefire heirlooms.
