Pepper’s meant for so much more than last-minute sprinkling (cacio e pepe and even chocolate cookies, for example) so we’re mighty glad to have this mill from Le Creuset close by. Choose salt or pepper, or both. The ceramic grinder inside is uber-consistent and resists corrosion. To customize your grind, just turn the knob—clockwise gives you finer flakes and counterclockwise makes things extra coarse. The S or P on the top tells you what’s inside. Once it’s sailed through dinner prep, just give that easy-cleaning finish a quick wipe-down, and it’s ready for another go.
