Well, if this isn’t the most artistic chess set we’ve met. Designed by toy artist Panisa Khunprasert for MoMA, it includes minimalist turned-wood pieces reminiscent of the game’s traditional shapes. (See: a diagonal slice for the bishop, grooves up top for the rook, and an arched shape for the knight.) The board itself is foldable, and two cloth bags give you a place to store everything else—but we have a feeling this will stay out full-time.
