Kikuichi Cutlery technically got its start back in 1267—yep, during the days of the samurai when a man named Kanenaga founded the Tegai school for Japan’s leading sword makers. Generations later, those skills and knowledge have been passed down, and now Kikuichi crafts modern knives following centuries-old family traditions.
