Jars Ceramics started back in 1857 when Pierre Jars founded a family ceramic workshop in the south of France. Years later, artisans still handmake every piece, from mixing the clay to the final firing. Named for a tiny island off of France’s southern coast, their Maguelone sushi plate has perfectly imperfect details, like organic lines that show the hands that created it.
