We didn't think it was possible to improve on chewy, sweet caramel. Then we tried these -- dreamed up exclusively for Food52 by master candy maker Chocolate Twist. We know herbs play well with sugar in dessert -- and these unusual caramels are further proof.
The rosemary lemon caramels are infused with fresh herbs and citrus and finished with sea salt. The basil lemon are fragrant and sweet -- we're torn between what's better: the scent or the taste.
