lightly salted was founded by Maria Finn. She used to work on commercial fishing boats in Alaska, and has been a food and environmental writer for several years. She currently lives on a houseboat in Sausalito where there’s a herring run out her kitchen door. She's committed to developing products that help people consume more seaweed, eat down the food chain, and vary their diets around seafood. Their goal is to make products that are beautiful, delicious, and sustainable.
