Let's rock.
When someone sets a piping hot pizza down in front of us, usually we want a slice immediately. So, rather than fuss with gooey cheese and a small knife, we use a pizza rocker to cut it. This beautiful one is handmade by R. Murphy, an artisan knife maker in Boston. The extra-sharp hand-edged blade is 13" long (made of high carbon stainless steel) and 0.65" thick, so it makes quick work of slicing a pie.
It's easy to resharpen at home -- the handles are made of walnut wood and hand-polished. Durable and lasting, it's one of the most handsome knives in our kitchen.
