Petite Breakfast Cheese: First made in1865, this original and iconic cheese is made using the time-honored recipe with fresh local milk and an irresistible dollop of fresh cream to make it a triple crème. It is the only fresh, unaged Brie in the United States. Wrapped in breathable clear wrap, the golden color is clearly visible as the cheese develops a creamy texture and mild, buttery flavor.
Petite Supreme: Lush and buttery with a fluffy whipped-cream texture and an aroma of sweet milk enriched with fresh cream, this cheese has snow white rind and ivory interior. When young (30 days) the flavor has a gentle lactic tang. With age (45-65 days) the flavor develops a cultured, buttery complexity. It pairs beautifully with bubbly wine.
Petite Camembert: This cheese is complex, aromatic and creamy with a deep golden color and thin white rind. The flavor is robust and earthy with hints of mushroom. Camembert differs distinctly from Brie by the cultures used to produce Camembert’s authentic savory flavor and velvety texture.
Petite Truffle: Petite Truffle is an elegant triple crème, 4-ounce cheeses made with fresh cow’s milk and cream from neighboring Marin County dairies. Specked with Urbani Italian black truffles, it has an irresistibly earthy aroma of mushrooms balanced with sweet cream. Each handcrafted wheel reflects characteristics of authentic varietal cultures and careful ripening techniques. It goes well with elegant food like caviar and fresh figs to humble, crowd-pleasing dishes like burgers and scrambled eggs.
Marin French Cheese ships out their fresh cheese express on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. This way, your cheese will arrive by week's end and won't sit in a warehouse over the weekend!
