Handcrafted in Portland, Oregon, Plum Tree Jam started with a bumper crop. One summer, in late August, the plum tree in Miranda Rake's mother's backyard gave more fruit then she knew what to do with! She was working at a chocolate shop at the time, learning the art and craft of chocolatier-ing from her friend (and chocolate genius) Elizabeth Montes. She tried her hand at making jam and it grew into a business celebrating the bounty of the Northwest.
