Kim Gilmour grew up in rural New Hampshire, and the inspiration for her work comes from the beauty and imperfection of the natural world. After moving to Brooklyn and starting to work with pottery, she decided to open her own shop. Now based in Hudson Valley, New York, everything she creates is organic and abstract, but also completely functional.
