Kim Gilmour grew up in rural New Hampshire -- the inspiration for her pottery comes from the beauty and imperfection of the natural world. After moving to Brooklyn and starting to work with pottery, she decided to open her own shop. Each piece is organic and abstract, but also a completely functional piece of pottery. Each piece is either hand-built, thrown on an electric wheel, or is a combination of both.
