The perfect companion to the Sansaire Sous Vide Immersion Circulator, the Searing Kit will give your perfectly sous-vided food that burnished crust that you love. Or simply use it to give your meat a sear before roasting or braising. It’s as easy as screwing the torch head into the propane fuel cylinder and pressing the trigger—watch as the flame turns your food crispy and golden right before your very eyes.

The torch head is outfitted with a safety lock for when it isn’t in use, and a run-lock so you don’t have to hold down the trigger for the entirety of a longer searing time. Use the included searing rack (with easily removable tray) to protect your counters from the intense heat of the searing torch and throw both pieces into the dishwasher when you’re done! The fuel cylinder will typically last for several months of home cooking, and in a pinch, you can use standard propane tanks sold at hardware or grocery stores.

Beyond meat and fish, use the torch to fire-roast vegetables for a smoky salsa, sauce, or stew.

Searing rack and tray are dishwasher safe.

Use caution when operating—torch flame output is 3,600°F. Only operate with included rack and drip tray to prevent damage to countertops.

Contents of propane canister are under pressure and extremely flammable. Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources or open flames.

Not recommended for use with skin-on poultry.
