Or simply use it to give your meat a sear before roasting or braising. It’s as easy as screwing the torch head into the propane fuel cylinder and pressing the trigger—watch as the flame turns your food crispy and golden right before your very eyes.
The torch head is outfitted with a safety lock for when it isn’t in use, and a run-lock so you don’t have to hold down the trigger for the entirety of a longer searing time. Use the included searing rack (with easily removable tray) to protect your counters from the intense heat of the searing torch and throw both pieces into the dishwasher when you’re done! The fuel cylinder will typically last for several months of home cooking, and in a pinch, you can use standard propane tanks sold at hardware or grocery stores.
Beyond meat and fish, use the torch to fire-roast vegetables for a smoky salsa, sauce, or stew.
