Felted Knife Roll

Roll the knife.
A chef on-the-go needs a safe way to transport his or her sharpest blades—enter this handsome felted knife roll (from German knife experts Messermeister). The heavy duty felt is finished off with a sturdy nylon interior and metal zippers that keep the bag shut tight on 3 sides. Choose from either a 5-pocket roll or an 8-pocket roll up (each pocket holds 1 knife up to 18” in length). We’re toting it along to dinner parties (so we don’t have to bother the host asking for her knives) and vacations (because no vacation rental, no matter how nice, ever seems to have a good chef’s knife).

Meet the Maker
Messermeister (loosely translated to “knife master” in German) remains one of the few companies in the world to produce hammer-forged knives the traditional way, and they’ve been doing so for over three decades. Founder Bernd Dressler (whose family had emigrated to Australia and then the United States from Germany) combined his respect and interest in high-quality cutlery with a desire to reconnect with his countrymen by collaborating with and learning from a 3rd generation knife making family in Germany.View Full Profile
