Emile Henry Ceramic Chicken Baker
For a foolproof weeknight roast.
This ceramic baking dish is specially shaped to snugly fit a whole chicken (though it will work with any other meat you like). Stuff your bird with your favorite things—herbs, garlic, perhaps a lemon or two—then nestle into the dish with some potatoes or other roasting veggies and cover with the dome-shaped lid, which diffuses heat all around the meat for a bird that’s perfectly juicy all the way through, no basting required. The best part: The lid keeps all those crackly, splatter-y chicken juices from getting all over the inside of your oven. Win-win!
