Hand-Forged Carbon Steel Sauté Pan
+ $ shipping surcharge
This sloped carbon steel sauté pan with an extra-long, curved handle is the one you want around for both easy flipping jobs and, say, pan-roasting a thick, juicy pork chop. Each pan is forged by hand from start to finish, and comes pre-seasoned with coconut oil to protect against rust. After the first few times you season your pan, you’ll begin to build up a shiny layer of polymers that will create a naturally nonstick surface that even fried eggs will slip right off of. Think of it like your favorite cast iron—but even better.

Details & Materials -
Hand-forged carbon steel
8" in diameter at base (11" in diameter at rim) x 21" L with handle x 2" H
Care & Notes -
Induction compatible. Avoid using soap when washing. Use salt as an abrasive. Clean with a sponge or cloth. Avoid sharp scouring pads that will damage the seasoning on the base. Dry immediately after cleaning, coat with oil when storing for longer periods of time.
Pan comes pre-seasoned with coconut oil, but cooking oil should be used initially until a layer of seasoning builds up. Pan will become more naturally non-stick as it becomes more seasoned.
