The Rope Co.
Warren, ME
Founded by a 5th generation lobsterman family, the Rope Co. makes outdoor mats, rugs, bins, and tablecloths that are hand-knotted in Maine from nautical rope. Owners Logan & Hannah Rackliff grew up steeped in coastal traditions (Logan learned how to navigate a lobster boat before his bicycle training wheels came off), and rope-making is part of that heritage. The rope you find in their household products is made from the same sturdy stuff that lobstermen use up and down the coast, from Canada to Florida.

Perfect solution
While I love the Coco mats, the mess they leave through the house was more than I wanted to deal with, this is an elegant design, and perfect solution for those muddy days while adding a bit of something different to the front door
Looks wonderful and is so sturdy!
I’ve tried different materials as a front door mat and this is the best! It’s neat and isn’t fading like other mat materials.
Sturdy and Rugged
This is the second I purchased. The first was outside all winter and it looks good as new. These are pricey, but I anticipate they will last several years - when you consider how quickly cheaper models wear down, I think the price is worth it.
