Decant and delight.
This decanter, with its globe body and delicately-formed pouring spout, is elegant and fanciful all at once—a hint of Alice in Wonderland or Hogwarts high table. For recycled glass (and it’s 100% recycled glass), it’s extremely clear, free from bubbles and extremely thin and lightweight. That’s no easy feat, but the artisans at this Swaziland factory have years of expertise behind them. Swedish Aid set up the factory in 1979 (Scandinavia was known as a glassmaking destination) and shared the art of glass-blowing with Swazi artisans. Their production process recycles glass, paper, fuel, and water, and they spearhead programs to teach children about environmental awareness.
