Vintage Copper French Bain Marie Crown Saucepan, Late 19th Century
Tale as old as time.
Vintage copper lends an easy, warm elegance to any home without all the stuffiness. This stunning collection of one-of-a-kind finds from Coppermill Kitchen has been well-loved for generations, and now you can only get it here at Food52. Crafted in the late 19th century, this saucepan is what's known as a "misfit" piece, because every detail tells a story. "CIIIBOUST" is stamped to both the pan and the lid, however, the most interesting mark is behind the steel handle: you'll see a first and last name with a crown above it, yet it seems the blacksmith placed the handle over it to cover it up. Feel free to wonder about this for years.
All items from Coppermill Kitchen are final sale. Items may vary slightly from what is pictured.
