Vintage Copper French Daubiere, Mid 19th Century

Vintage copper lends an easy, warm elegance to any home without all the stuffiness. This stunning collection of one-of-a-kind finds from Coppermill Kitchen has been well-loved for generations, and now you can only get it here at Food52. This thick-gauge French daubiere was crafted circa 1850 and features a hand-hammered finish with dovetailed seams around the underside and across the lid. A thick, 4mm hand-cut copper handle is secured with copper rivets and is hand-forged to the pan. It's stamped with the initials "L.B." on both the pan and the lid.
