We gave 20 of our favorite ceramicists a mission: to create a mug that best represents their aesthetic. And boy, did they deliver! The result is something we’re very excited to present: A very-special, very-unique collection of limited-edition mugs—all exclusive to Food52 (like the design on this very page!).
This mug’s got enough angles and curves to go around! With dreamy earthtones that swoop in and over each other to create an asymmetrical pattern, it’s a standalone piece that’ll make any beverage you pour inside look oh-so-eye catching. The mug employs a tricky technique in which matte, velvety glaze imitates stone but is smooth and pleasant to hold (especially on a rainy day).
