Rare Vintage Copper X-Large Detailed Tea Kettle, mid 19th Century
Just tea for two and two for tea.
Vintage copper lends an easy, warm elegance to any home without all the stuffiness. This stunning collection of one-of-a-kind finds from Coppermill Kitchen has been well-loved for generations, and now you can only get it here at Food52.
Crafted circa 1850, this stunningly detailed extra-large kettle is no everyday find (our dealer himself confirmed this and he’s been in the biz for over 30 years). As you’ll see by the elaborate maker’s stamp, it’s a William Soutter piece and it features a unique pie crust detail around the opening, and a hand-cut brass ribbed handle and finial.
Heads up! Promotions do not apply to this item.
All items from Coppermill Kitchen are final sale. Items may vary slightly from what is pictured.
