Five Two Bamboo Cutting Board
Our very first Five Two product is back like you've never seen it: the double-sided cutting board, brand-new in bamboo. There's a reason it sold out in just three days the first time—with your brilliant ideas, we created a one-of-a-kind design to revolutionize chopping, slicing, and carving. But we knew it could be even better, and now it is. You couldn't say enough good things about bamboo, and you were right: It's eco-friendly, antimicrobial, and water-resistant—the ultimate work surface. Here’s why we love it:
- An extra-deep juice groove: One side features the juice groove that almost 6,000 of you asked for—it was our #1 write-in request. We made ours extra-deep, with a well and a pour spout at the corner (ideal for sauces and stocks).
- A clever phone slot: This feature was our innovation, and we put it through 4 rounds of prototyping until we got it just right. It lets your smartphone stand tall, giving you quick, easy access to notes and recipes. (It also helps keep eggs from rolling away.)
- Sized to perfection: Two-thirds of you told us that size is the most important feature of a cutting board, so we made ours with a generous surface area that's large enough for carving. We also gave the other side ample chopping space (and it’s great for serving up charcuterie).
- Just-right thickness: It’s sturdy enough for vigorous chopping, and it won't slip and slide on your counter (something 47% of you requested)—but it’s also lightweight and portable for serving, with easy-to-grip tapered edges so you can pick it up effortlessly.

Details & Materials -
The board is 18" L x 13" W x 1" H. The juice groove measures 0.75" W x 0.25" H. The smartphone slot measures 0.75" W x 0.50" H (we put it through 4 rounds of testing to make sure it would fit the widest possible variety of smartphones).
Care & Notes
Give your board a gentle wash after every use. Mild soap and warm water are your friends here, but steer clear of the dishwasher. Dry the board thoroughly with a towel right after washing, and it’ll always be ready to spring back into action. To ensure your board lasts a lifetime, apply mineral oil generously after every few washes (especially to start), or any time the wood feels dry.
