Victorio Hand Crank Grain Mill
Crank it up.
This is the ultimate in DIY - a mill that makes homemade flours, meals, and cereals. It's got a compact design, so it fits easily in even a tiny kitchen, but is a tool we're considering essential. You can grind your own flours and meals, which means you can make exactly the amount you need, instead of investing in expensive bags of speciality flours. You can adjust the stainless steel grinding burrs for as fine or coarse of a grind as you like -- so it works just as well for small spices, or coarse cracked cereals. You can grind any non-oily seed or nut, and the 2"" wide clamp base makes it easy to store and set up. It holds up to 2 cups of grains.
