These pillows may be made from 100% linen—aka they get softer with time—but that’s not the only reason we’re fans. They’re hand block-printed with nontoxic ink in New Bedford, Massachusetts, so each one is totally unique. They’re coming in two coordinating designs, too: the rust-colored one is inspired by the I Ching (or “Book of Changes,” an ancient Chinese divination text), while the one with overlapping dashes mimics the colors and textures of the American Southwest. Oh, and a down-alternative insert is included, so you’ll be getting cozy in no time.

Meet the Maker

Caroline Z. Hurley

Brooklyn, NY
Caroline Z. Hurley’s journey started with fabric, created using simple shapes and the sense of place she found in travel. Demand for her textiles quickly grew, and now, she and her team remain dedicated to hand-making pieces that help us create a sense of home in our little corners in the world. Everything is crafted using time-honored techniques—block-printing, quilting, and weaving, to name a few—all in one of the last remaining textile factories in the US still producing textiles by hand (wow).
