Sawyer Ceramics
San Diego, CA
For Jonathan Sawyer, it all starts with a lump of clay. He works away at his potter's wheel in his San Diego studio to create pieces that are functional while retaining unique, handmade charm. Even better, every piece he crafts utilizes entirely lead-free glazes, meaning that they're good for use in the microwave, dishwasher, and oven.

Sponge Holder
This little sponge holder is perfect! I did not realize how much I would love it until I started to use it. The holder catches all the water that drips from the sponge instead of the sponge sitting on the counter and making a mess. The stoneware looks clean and blends in with my kitchen sink area. Just another little addition to keep things neat and tidy.
