Just like a sunset.
Well, color us smitten by this sunset-hued stemware. Fun fact: It’s inspired by this maker’s grandmother, who used to snatch up colored glass and other finds at antique shops. There are two shapes for whatever you happen to be pouring (wine glass, coupe, your pick). And the kicker? Everything you see comes all the way from Poland, where it was hand-blown by artisans. We’ll raise a glass to that.

Estelle Colored Glass
Charleston, SC
Estelle Colored Glass gets its name from founder Stephanie Summerson Hall’s grandmother, who had a passion for antiquing and uncovering new treasures. Colored glass pieces used to adorn her table at Sunday dinners, and now, thanks to this gorgeous collection (all made in Poland by artisans—wow), they can adorn yours, too.

Hand-blown Colored Wine Glasses (Set of 6)
I purchased two sets: SMOKE and a MIXED set. I've only received the smoke set as of today, but they are really beautiful and will go perfectly with my French glass dinnerware. The color is true to the pictures. They appear to be delicate, however, I only hand wash my wineglasses anyway. Cannot wait to create a table setting with mostly the smoke wineglasses and mix in a few of the rose and blush wineglasses. I like to read about the businesses that are featured on Food52 and I was so happy to learn that Estelle Colored Glass is a black female-owned business in the US. I LOVE that Food52 is highlighting such amazing craftspeople and entrepreneurs.
