This year, we teamed up with 52 of our favorite ceramicists—yep, 52—to bring you an extra-special collection: a whole medley of artisan-crafted mugs, each one as unique as its maker. They’re only in for a limited time (and, you guessed it, you’ll only find ‘em here).
We could gaze at those abstract shapes for days, but we’ll take a moment to tell you about this mug. It’s wheel-thrown from speckled porcelain clay by potter Petra Kaiser, based in St. Helens, Oregon. A white glaze gives it a shiny finish (but those lines and dots still let its natural texture peek through).
