Meet the Maker

Armadillo

New York, NY
The Armadillo story started in 2009 with two women, Jodie Fried and Sally Pottharst, who dreamed of elevating age-old methods of rug craftsmanship through a contemporary design process. Every rug they make is crafted by hand using Fair Trade practices, from sustainable materials that are designed to last and last. (We can attest—we’ve had one of their beautiful floor coverings in our office for, well, a *long* time.)
