Drinks all around.

Now the party can begin: Made from local grey clay and then fired with salt, this vintage stoneware drink dispenser hails from Argent-sur-Sauldre, France, to keep lemon water, cider, and big-batch cocktails on tap. We love that rustic sheen and the one-of-a-kind wood spout. A lid on the crock makes refills a cinch, while two built-in handles let you taxi it to the picnic table, easy. It’s exclusively here in our Shop, there are only a few, so better snap one up while you can.

Wait till you hear the story behind this rare collection: It goes back to 1847, when Stanislas Renault first opened his workshop in Argent-sur-Sauldre, France. One move and 173 years later, the Poterie Renault business had stayed in the family for five generations, continuing to handcraft iconic stoneware from French clay (and even fire it all in the original kiln). Sadly, they’re closing their doors—but not before we were able to snap up a treasure trove of vintage pieces. We brought them here just for you, and they’re available exclusively at our Shop.

Meet the Maker

Poterie Renault

France
Poterie Renault got its start way back in 1847 in Argent-sur-Sauldre, France. Five generations later, the family was still handcrafting their iconic stoneware from local grey clay in the Loire Valley. They’ve since had to close up shop—but we’re sure glad we have their classic French kitchen salt-glazed pieces to remember them by.
