A trip you can taste.

We’re feeling more serene just thinking about this two-night getaway. IACP award-winning food stylist, chef, and Food52 Resident Melina Hammer is opening up her charming home in upstate New York just for our community. You and a friend will be welcomed with a toast, then go on to enjoy a nature walk, a private cooking class with food plucked from Melina’s garden, a curated three-course meal, and two gourmet breakfasts—all prepared by Melina herself. That’s not all, either: You’ll also receive a signed copy of A Year at Catbird Cottage, Melina's upcoming book filled with the kinds of foraged and seasonal recipes you’ll be enjoying (a lovely memento to help you remember your stay, we think).

Check-in is at any time after 3 pm, and check-out is at 11 am. Travel to and from Catbird Cottage is not included, and only the meals noted are included. Guests must be 18 years or older. No children or pets. CDC guidelines around COVID-19 will be observed during the stay, including proof of vaccination.

Be sure to schedule your stay within two years of purchase. There will be a few blackout dates while Melina is out and about promoting her upcoming book, A Year at Catbird Cottage. A Year at Catbird Cottage starts shipping in May 2022.
