Wheel-thrown together.

We know you’re wondering how this ceramic mug got that handle, so we’ll get right to it. It was handmade—wheel-thrown, in fact—from stoneware clay by Brooklyn-based ceramicist Joanne Lee. It’s been finished up top with a speckled white glaze (we can’t get enough of that raw clay peeking through at the bottom). It’s just the thing you’ll want to cradle in your hand. Good thing the handle is sculpted for exactly that.

We teamed up with 52 ceramicists—that’s right, 52—to bring you a collection like none other: a whole parade of handcrafted mugs, each one as unique as its maker. They’re only in the Shop for a limited time (and, you guessed it, they’re exclusively here).
