A Last Hurrah Labor Day

Today: Labor Day entertaining doesn't have to be laborious. Take the extra day off to gather you best people and toast summer's best ingredients with this holiday menu.

This is the last big summer weekend, and we all know it. But instead of descending into a slow panic about the coming slew of fall holidays and obligations (don't you dare ask us what we're being for Halloween), we're going to take a step back and remember what's really important: things like corn, and tomatoes, and cold drinks with good friends. We're going to use our grill before we're forced to shutter it, and eat icy desserts and stone fruit pies until we can't. 

This Labor Day, you'll be ready. You'll be calm, cool, and collected in your summer whites. When the dishes are clean and the guests have dissipated into the late summer air -- we'll talk about back to school then. Here's what to make for summer's last hurrah:
