I guess I've been living under a rock or something, because I'm totally unfamiliar with Dunkaroos. The Dalaroos look a lot like gingerbread cookies (which I cut into animal shapes rather than 'boys'. Do they taste much like gingerbread?

Molly!! Ha! I love this and I love that first picture with the little dala horses tumbling in frosting. I do have to admit that being a Canadian living in the US has it's perks (e.g. family bringing me dunkaroos when they visit).

OMGomgomg. Dunkaroos=my childhood. When we moved from NY to FL, I was so upset because it was near impossible to find them in my town. My grandpa used to bring an extra suitcase with him when he visited us, and it would be full of Dunkaroo boxes!! When I was in highschool, I found out the dollar store started selling them and I would stock up! So sad about them being discontinued, but I CANNOT wait to try your recipe. You are awesome Molly!!!

I love this website because the writers clearly understand what's important to me. Like Dunkaroos.
